Good ambiance, good food a lovely evening We went to the Jananeh Restaurant & Bar which is part of the Hotel. It is a Persian restaurant. It is in the basement of the Hotel but there is a terrace at street level where you can eat or have coffee and cake. The restaurant has a wonderful decor, the seats are really cute and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The menu isn’t huge but the portions are. There is a wine menu but it is very limited. We think the restaurant has just been taken over by different people. There is a bar sticked with drinks. The food is cooked beautifully and you are not rushed. We spent a lovely evening in the restaurant. We will definitely go back as well as have coffee on the terrace. A great ,kcal place to go to. They accept card or cash.

Go for a real 4 star hotel -nothing is working og is gross! Dont wast your money - this hotel is the worst, noise from the heatingsystem - around 55 db at night right in front of you, everything was broken, toilet not working and the stains on the ceilling and 2-3 small mushrooms growing out of the plasterdecorations. You can book if you want, but Hilton just down the road has the same prices and that on is a 4 star hotel. Everything you read about this run down hotel is true - dont use your savings! I have to admit this was in May 2022 - but just look at the new reviews - nothing have changed!

Avoid I have actually never witnessed anything like this hotel. Do not stay , avoid at all costs. We checked in the hotel entrance and lift were fusty and the floor if the lift was filthy. Our room , even staler than the lobby, mouldy ceiling and walls , threadbare carpet ,dusty and cheap airfresheners to try and cover the stench. The bathroom was disgusting, the staff were not in any way welcoming. Checked out immediately. This hotel could simply not be.listed as 4 star. The impression given is totally misleading. How can this be allowed to happen in this day and age.

Victorian Hotel and nice neighborhood Normally I don't write reviews but I was reading some and thought I'd add my opinion. My stay was December 2023. I actually enjoyed my room #14, the Turing Suite. The front desk was courteous. The elevator was older which I liked as part of the character. My room was spacious and of Victorian decor with a nice view down the street toward the tube station. There were a couple of things to be improved such as needing a battery for the TV remote and a couple of small holes in the bathroom that needed patching. The breakfast wasn't too bad. Meat, cheese, fruit, not too good coffee, etc. I loved the location. The tube was just down the street and on the side street there was a chocolate shop, beer and wine shop, Italian restaurant, store, and a cleaners to do my clothes. The neighborhood was enjoyable to walk as well. If you come back, within a year, you're supposed to get a 10% discount. This didn't work on the website so I emailed them. This was fixed on the website for some options although I didn't get an email reply. I've emailed again and also didn't get a response. Overall I enjoyed the stay but wouldn't give it a four star until some patching up is done. If I could get the same room, I'd stay there again.
