Lovely dog friendly hotel My husband and myself and our dachshund Poppy stayed for one night. Lovely friendly hotel lovely staff food was great , room was so comfortable. Best of all they welcomed our dog Poppy ,who became a hit with the staff. We will definitely be back soon. It was a gift from my husband for my birthday the day before.

Perfect location, perfect hotel What a really lovely stay we had here for a Faulty Towers weekend. The staff of the hotel were all so friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable and warm. We have to remark on the quality of the food which was excellent. We had a cream tea with fresh scones, bountiful clotted cream and jam. Being on an event weekend, our menu was pre-chosen, but the food again was excellent, freshly cooked and hot. There was a very wide choice of food for breakfast, more than an average hotel with the opportunity to have freshly cooked eggs to order. The location of the hotel is perfect and is two minutes from the pier. There is parking available on site, which although advertised as a first come availability, was not a problem as there was plenty of parking available. We will certainly return for another visit, thank you!

Poor customer service and common sense Customer service at its best. Hotel ok and nice location. I stay in the area for business many times a year and thought I’d try somewhere new. Got in late and needed to eat. I asked the colleague who was serving the restaurant if I could order food. He explained the kitchen was closed. It was 8:40pm. I asked if there was any way of getting anything and he said no. Asked if I could requests snacks as I’m a resident. He said flat no. I ordered a Nando’s as there was no option and went to the bar to get a drink whilst waiting for my Nando’s. Lo and behold a guy got served a pie and something 20 mins after me asking about food. I’m not saying the kitchen wasn’t closed but use some common sense and customer service. If you were able to make something, why didn’t you instead of flatly refusing. This is my first time at the hotel and my last. I will spend my business nights away else where, where hotels can be bothered to look after their guests.
