Great customer service Excellent service, I contacted Emma on the phone regarding last minute changes to our booking for a Christmas party at The Millhouse. Emma spoke to the chef and they were both very helpful and accommodating, we are looking forward to a great night !

Away for work 1-night stay for work, car park was free. Had to wait for a staff member to greet me. Was in room 9, 3rd landing (no lift - for information). Room was well presented and in good order. There was a desk to work at if required. TV was good and WiFi was okay - had to log back on a couple of times. Ensuite was cosy with no heating apart from a towel rail. Postcode for venue is RG7 1PT not RG7 1PY as on Hotels.com website. I only got this information in an email from the venue AFTER I had arrived.

Stunning Wedding Venue What a phenomenal venue for a wedding or event. Having just had our daughters wedding Ceremony and celebrations as well as bed and breakfast. We had the option and did book all the rooms which were very comfortable and met our needs perfectly. We were very fortunate with the weather and so could make good use of the lovely picturesque grounds all very well maintained. We could see the owners and staff outside making everything just right, and they were always at hand to answer any questions we had. The day went flawlessly, everything was very well orchestrated and completed with a smile. The ceremony was outside, but the contingency was there to move it inside if the weather changed. With the chairs positioned in front of the pergola for the ceremony, the picture was perfect and it felt intimate and glorious. After photos of which the beautiful options for backdrops were perfect, the celebrations moved into the purpose built marquee to the rear of the garden. Air conditioning was on and a welcome asset. We had 63 guests for the wedding breakfast. The food choices we had previously made from a food tasting evening - which I would recommend as we did accompanying the bride and groom to be, in selecting and sharing various options for each course plus wine selection. A good evening in itself, plus I remember asking ‘will the roast beef and potatoes really be this good on the day for 63’ Well I can report it was, all extremely delicious. Gluten free and coeliac dietary requirements accommodated. After speeches and food the sliding doors were opened and the venue readied for evening guests and disco. This allowed guest to use the various areas and swap between dancing or relaxing and socialising. Carriages at 12 O’clock was perfect leaving the staying guests to get together and could use the inside bar if required to finish the evening, without feeling rushed. Thank you Mill House for the best wedding venue we could ask for, everything was perfect we wouldn’t change a thing. Plus a massive thank you to all of the staff that made the day special. Lee & Janice plus of course Lydia & Jake
