Find a better hotel Dismal, grubby and dated. Dark narrow corridors, broken light fittings. Very poor standard of housekeeping, dirty carpet and curtains, grimy bathroom (especially the tiles, shower curtain and basin surround) and dusty furniture and fixtures. A complaint to reception brought about no improvement and room not serviced at all on second day. On the plus side, bed was comfortable and bedding and towels clean. TV, hairdryer and central heating all worked and water was hot. Overall a dispiriting stay. A poor advertisement for hotel standards in Bournemouth. There must be more welcoming and comfortable hotels with higher standards even at that price point.

Bad experience Totally disgusted with this hotel, it was more like a fawlty towers hotel. We moved rooms 3 times, the first room had mattresses outside the room, a ramp was down the middle of the stairs so difficult to reach the room, the second room had a fully grown tree outside the window so no view and the TV was not working properly even the receptionist could not fix it. The third room had a creaky floor so everytime you walked on it during the night my wife and I would wake each other up. The fire alarm was tested at 0830, there was no warning that there would be a test , we saw nothing at reception to let us know, the worst thing was our friends heard nothing they were in room 9 so I think their fire alarm is not working, this hotel needs a serious update, the furniture needs renewing. . Would I recommend or go back to this hotel , NO

Horrible place The heating was rationed, it took 3 days for them to change our towels and empty the rubbish. The pool is a glorified paddling pool. Would not recommend at all. The water pressure in the shower was a joke! The whole place smelled like damp.

Avoid at all costs We had booked for 3 nights. It was rather down at heel but we had a conference very nearby. Unfortunately, at midnight, I was dozing off, but my husband was reading in the twin bed with his lamp on. I woke up & 5 bed bugs were on my pillow! My husband caught some & went to the reception, who came up. As it was well after midnight we had to stay so they moved us to another room. Nearby, some people were drumming till after 1am. In the morning we argued until we got most of our money refunded, speaking loudly about the bugs.

Assume no pool, you're not getting in! The pool is basically a lie. I tried to use it 6:00 p.m. - closed for swimming lessons. The again at 9:30 a.m. - closed for swimming lessons. No timetable available. Vague promises that it would be open later, at times when I wouldn't be there, since after all one doesn't come to spend all day in the hotel. I've also heard other guests discussing bedbugs and staff wandering into their rooms.
