Bottomless brunch We are currently at the bottomless brunch but wanted to leave a positive review after our amazing food and cocktails and especially our great service from Jack, he is just brilliant!

Don’t go if you want to sleep We stayed here for a family function on Saturday past. There was also a wedding in in the hotel. The wedding party went on to 4:30am… there was shouting and laughing right up to this point. No one did anything about it. We were there with elderly parents and no one slept. When we spoke with reception in the morning we were told that this was highlighted in their terms and conditions. We booked through booking.com There was no mention of this on their site While we would expect some noise from a wedding party we certainly would not expect this to go on to 4:30 am Reception staff were not interested in discussing this and simply stated again this was in the terms and conditions of the booking It was a horrendous night and will not be back. We Will certainly not be recommending this to any other friends and family.

Avoid, avoid,avoid!!! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever spent a night in. The noise levels were appalling all night. Guests appeared to have been moved into the reception area late on, presumably after the bar had closed. They cheered and shouted all night, very loudly and with no consideration for other guests. I was at an event in the hotel earlier, and spent a considerable amount of money buying food and drink. I didn’t expect that by 4am in the morning I would be wide awake due to the noise from the reception area. I complained to the receptionist in the morning who simply pointed me to a notice on the reception desk. It said due to events there could be an “impact on noise levels”. Impact doesn’t begin to cover it! No understanding whatsoever from the hotel. Conveniently, the manager wasn’t on shift. I would say avoid this so-called at all costs, unless you want to lie awake all night!

Good weekend away Enjoyed our stay at Waterfoot. Hotel is convenient for the city. Good standard of room and our meals were very good. Happy to recommend.

Very good in parts Good value Our room was clean & bed comfortable. Could be freshend up as a bit depressing. Food was lovely. The thing that let the weekend down was the entertainment didn't turn up. We where told 9 then 9.30 then 10. At 10.30 still hadn't turned up, asked at reception and she didn't even inform the hotel that she wasn't coming. Night wasted as it was 2 late for us 2 head out somewhere & it was Valentines night. According 2 the locals this was the 4th time she hadn't turned up. My question to the hotel is why is she still getting booked
