Forest of Dean: Glamping Megapod, and Leisure Access for Four People at 4* Whitemead Forest Park

Fantastic site Stayed here Saturday till Tuesday with my partner, very clean and peaceful site, surrounded by trees great settings, the toilets and shower block was clean and warm, the shower water was lovely and hot one little moan pity they are not more powerful, but still nice the WiFi was excellent considering the surroundings, took my fire stick for the TV no problems whatsoever, the bar was great the entertainment was very good, and the food was good, lots to do if you have children and would highly recommend staying here

Excellent Site Great facilities, large indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room and two jacuzzis. Beautiful site, well laid out. Bar facilities and food good. Cafe also on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful walks around Forest of Dean

Light sleepers take note! We stayed in the more expensive log cabins with hot tubs over the New Year period. Lovely setting in the trees, great cabin and hot tub - loud disco music every night. I totally understand that on New Year's Eve, there was a party in the entertainment, and I can accept that music till 1 am was part of that. However, it was the repetitive drumbeat music that occurred every night between 9pm and around 11 pm/11:30 pm. At times, it was really on and off, too. So you got a 5-minute break, thought it had stopped, but it started again? Which was extra annoying. There's a total disconnect between the stunning forest location and disco drum beat every night. You are aware that there is entertainment when you book, but you're not made aware that the sound is so loud, you will hear it whether you want to or not. If disco drum beat music is not your thing, or you like your bedtime quieter, this may not be the park for you

Perfect post Christmas relax and recharge Lots of information prior to arrival and a quick and efficient check in . The chalet was perfect , lots of lovely touches including a Christmas tree and a dog bag with treats towel etc . Lots of activities if you wanted to take part but left to do exactly what you wanted . Although the site was fully booked we didn’t feel it was crowded or busy . Grounds and facilities all very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. The perfect post Christmas pick me up into the New Year . We will definitely re book

Shout out to Sarah! Just back from another great stay, our whole group want to give SARAH a big shout out for keeping us all entertained and for giving us another New year to remember, She’s always busy, constantly working to keep things moving and making sure everything runs smoothly and still remains super happy! Thank you so much! It was great to be in the venue this year for the last night of our break too, much better atmosphere in there, felt like old times which was lovely! Our only moan about our stay this year would be the cleanliness of our cutlery, plates and cups, we always wash them before using anyway but there was still food and even paint on some things, luckily we also take our own washing up liquid and cleaning supplies so it wasn’t a big issue but for anyone not bringing extras, the little complimentary washing up liquid bottle just wouldn’t have cut it. Just an idea, but would be lovely to see some sort of a loyalty scheme in place, as a large family group that has been visiting for 10+ years 2/3 sometimes 4 times a year, it was a little disappointing that booking early didn’t serve us very well this year after knowing we could have saved hundreds of pounds if we would have booked last minute, Overall we love coming here, there’s so much to do, and it’s a great option to get all of the family together to spend quality time and make memories . We always make use of the swimming pool and facilities including gym, the little shop on site has gotten us out of trouble in the past with bits of food that we’ve forgotten to bring with us and even swimming shorts one year! Love the entertainment that is provided on the evenings, one of the main things that we come for, and we love the walks through the forest to local pubs too. Thank you for having us!
