A great holiday Lovely view and caravan....Staff friendly and helpful.....Site was clean .....and bar was good but had to have 2nd choice when ordering food....plus a vacuum would have been handy.....Yet overall a solid five star for a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday...

Great positioning but over priced The caravan was lovely and clean and the park is in a great location. The bar, reception, shop and maintenance staff are so lovely and friendly. This is our second visit to this park as the children (11 and 7) loved last year’s kids club and the staff who were there were amazing. Always friendly and welcoming to the kids and parents, even when just walking around the holiday park. This year was very disappointing. Shannon was great but the other three were not. We’d turn up and they were dissorganised and unprepared, openly admitting they didn’t know what they were meant to be doing or just starting to set things up when it was the activity start time. I might be in the minority but I don’t appreciate a kids club person, wearing their uniform, walking around vaping. Not the image I’d expect. The pool party was a sham. They again were not prepared. It started around 20 mins late, finished early and comprised of a kids jumping in competition, adults jumping in competition, one dance and a swimming race. I think everyone was getting annoyed by them asking everyone’s name, shouting 1,2,3 before the they jumped in. Nobody could hear much. The girl kids club host, who was meant to be judging just messed around hiding in the cupboard/plant room. At this late stage of the season you’d think they’d have it all well organised. The showers in the pool area were dirty and blocked. By the time we left they had a second pool! We paid way too much (around £700) for our two bed sea view gold caravan so we could have a sea view. Trouble is you couldn’t sit on the sofa to see it as it was on the wrong side of the van.

seasonal pitch on a 10/10 park 1st year having a seasonal pitch tourer, having looked everywhere finally found somewhere that ticked 99% of all our boxes, staff/site/shop/restaurant excellent, cater for families and pets throughout, facilities all excellent and well maintained, so much so we have already renewed for next year! Only criticism I can give, some of which is out of the parks hands but could help with is idiots who like to scream and shout and let their kids on the swings etc in the play park in the middle of the night ie 1a m! I appreciate everyone for a good break and great time but DO wish people would please consider others, might not be a bad idea to enforce the quiet times with someone walking about late on just to give gentle reminders maybe? (just a thought) other than that 10/10 see you next year! Thank you again.

Half term break Fantastic place. Been 3 times in 1 year. Friendly, entertaining, great location and memorable. Children were in tears when we left. That says it all.

Gatekeepers accomodation As usual we enjoyed our stay ,it was booked only two weeks before arrival. We had never stayed in Gatekeepers before but it was just right for our needs. Staff and facilities were as expected. We will return !
