You will visit Windsor Castle, built in the 11th century by William the Conqueror and covering an area of 13 acres. • First Bus: 9:30am from Theatre Royal, Thames Street
• Last Bus: 5:30pm from Theatre Royal, Thames Street for a complete loop
• Frequency: Every 60 mins

Windsor Castle

• Thursday to Monday, 10:00 with last admission at 15:30. Windsor Castle is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.
• The Semi-State Rooms at Windsor Castle will not open in October as scheduled this year.
• St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
• Windsor Castle closures: As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice. During July, August and September the Castle is open 6 days a week, closed on Wednesdays. During the rest of the year the Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
