Windsor Castle

  • Booking required via the calendar
  • If visiting on a Tuesday's & Wednesday's, please select an option that does NOT include Windsor Castle, as the Castle is closed.
  • Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change. Please see the Schedule tab for full information.
  • When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will continue to be open.
  • During peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi and USB chargers may be used.
  • You must show your e-ticket provided to gain entry to this tour.
  • Windsor Castle closures: Every Tuesday & Wednesday. 24-26 December Castle closed. Windsor castle is closed on 26th of December so we will be operating a walking tour of Windsor instead.
  • St. George's Chapel - St. George's Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. Visitors to the Castle on Sundays will not be able to enter the chapel or view the burial place of Queen Elizabeth II.
