The Big Day
A wedding day at the Holiday Inn comes courtesy of the dedicated wedding planner, who will help with the smooth running of the day. The red carpet sets the tone for the special day, with each guest receiving a Champagne cocktail upon arrival, to toast to the newlyweds’ lives together. The celebratory meal comes in the form of a three-course wedding breakfast for 40 guests (usually £29.95 per person), with dishes on offer such as chicken liver parfait, steamed salmon fillet and vanilla cheesecake, served on tables with white linens and with personalised menus. Wine accompanies the meal, and guests can toast to the occasion with a glass of sparkling wine for the speeches (£11.50 per person). Come evening, the dance floor opens up, and 80 guests can fuel the festivities with a finger buffet of items such as sandwiches, wraps and tartlets (£19.95 per person). When the revelry draws to a close, the happy couple can retire to their suite, while wedding guests also get a special discounted room rate.

The Venue
The Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport offers accommodation, as well as a restaurant and bar. The on-site health and fitness centre features a swimming pool, steam room, and gym. The art deco-style Grill Room Restaurant serves up speciality dishes, while the Flight Bar boasts an open fire during the chillier months. Conference spaces are also available for up to 500 people, with 14 meeting rooms, wireless Internet and catering facilities.
