Children’s training runs from March onwards

What to expect…

They typically run the children’s training as 2-hour sessions in small groups of 6 riders per instructor. On arrival, you’ll sign on and get kitted up before watching a short safety brief video. You’ll then meet your instructor and be assigned a bike for the day… then the fun begins! Head out into the fields to start your training – training starts off on flattish ground where your instructor will teach you the very basics of bike control and get you comfortable on the bike before gradually progressing onto ‘sections’.

Sections are essentially obstacles which your instructor will mark out using coloured flags. As the day progresses, so will your skills! Each day is tailored dynamically to the ability of the group.

The bikes…

They have a range of electric OSET bikes in a variety of sizes, which are perfect for young riders. OSET’s are the perfect beginner's bike since they have fully adjustable (with parent lock) controls for speed, power and response.

  • Riding kit (boots, helmet, gloves, trials pants and a jersey)
  • A hot or cold drink and home baking
  • Full tuition when the weather is more favourable, so they recommend booking well in advance.

Please note, children's sessions commence in March when the weather is more favourable. When booking, please state your child's ability so they can be included in the most suitable session. Complete beginners welcome. Boots, helmet, gloves, jersey and trousers are provided. Waterproofs are available to purchase, if required, for £15 per person. Customers will need to sign a waiver before participating. Riders are advised to pay a £15 damage waiver, which will cover them in case any damageis made to the motorcycle while they are driving. If they do not wish to pay this in the case of any damage made, they will need to pay for all repair costs to the Motorcycle. Supplementary fees: Any level of riders are able to participate. Hot drinks and a cake are provided. Excluded dates: Public Holidays. Location Restrictions: Parking on site, based on 100 acres of land in the beautiful Ribble Valley. 2 weeks’ notice to reschedule a date. Validity Times: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm Saturday 8 am - 4 pm Sessions usually run 10 am-12 pm or 1.30 pm -.3.30 pm Weather Restrictions: Only in the case of Snow or extreme weather conditions in this case they will be rescheduled. Liability insurance up to £5,000,000 included. Valid for ages 6-12, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (participating or spectating). Please note that bookings for July and August will incur a supplement of £25 per person. Valid for children aged 6 years and up. Appointment/Reservation required. Merchant contact information will be available for you after purchase in your voucher. Valid only for option purchased. Limit 10 per person.
