About Ivy Cottage Pedigree Ryelands
Ivy Cottage Pedigree Ryelands is a smallholding in Saddleworth in Greater Manchester. We farm Ryeland sheep and produce very high quality meat and wool. We are now licenced by Oldham Council for animal exhibition, Animal Welfare Licence AWL0009.
We offer a variety of farm experiences from a short visit to meet the sheep and the chickens to spending a day as a farmer doing all of the daily jobs around the farm.
We have been keeping sheep for almost nine years and specialise in heritage breed Ryelands which feed all year on grass. We lamb outside in April and May and are keen to pass on our knowledge and enthusiasm for farming and producing high welfare produce.
