    A wonderful pre-Christmas spa day with my daughter. We were met in reception by really helpful, cheerful staff and supplied with warm, fluffy robes, towels and a pair of slippers. We had to leave a £5 deposit each for those, but this was returned at the end. The lounge/reception area overlooks the pool and was very relaxing. Lovely clean changing rooms and we were impressed they had GHD hairdryers. The pool was lovely, but the jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer. Great steam room and a sauna. As a spa, those are the only facilities, but for the price we paid, it was excellent value. We enjoyed the comfy loungers, of which there were plenty. We both had treatments. I had a massage which was very relaxing. The deal included an afternoon tea which consisted of a hot drink and a scone with jam and clotted cream. We also bought some paninis and all the food was very good.

    Really enjoyed ourselves. Just what we needed. Sarah who did my massage was amazing. I asked for a deep tissue shoulder massage and she delivered. Facial was brilliant. Will be back.
