The Big Day

Happy couples can bring together their nearest and dearest to celebrate their big day with a choice of wedding package at the Glebe Hotel. Couples can start the day as they mean to go on with a red carpet arrival coupled with a glass of wine for each guest. Couples can then opt to either have a hot and cold buffet for 45 guests, or a three-course wedding breakfast with wine for 50 guests. Those who opt for the three-course option can expect menu options such as peppered mackerel fillet followed by traditional roast breast of chicken, and profiteroles with fresh cream to finish; the full menu can be seen here. Couples wanting the visit the hotel can attend a wedding showcase on 22 January (starts 6pm) or a wedding fayre on 15 February (starts 11am)

The Venue

A country hotel shrouded in a green landscape, The Glebe Hotel at Barford comprises 39 individually decorated bedrooms, each individually designed. The hotel’s conservatory restaurant seats diners in an airy, open space with views across the gardens, while a comprehensive leisure centre proffers plenty of energetic exploits. Bouts in the gym can, however, be swapped for relaxing spa sessions, as guests can make the most of a pool, massage spa pool, and Swedish-style sauna.
