ABOUT THE WHITE LION COACHING HOUSE

• Steeped in centuries of history, with a pub on-site since the fourteenth century
• Served as a post house, auction house, labour exchange, and even a coroner’s court during the Victorian era
• Rebuilt in 1904 into the structure that remains today
• Revived after 15 years of closure by Jon Dootson & Paul Astill in partnership with Stockport Council
• Now a beautifully restored traditional pub at the heart of Stockport’s Great Underbank
