These performance machines are incredible fun to drive, and while it might sound bold to let 10–17-year-olds take the wheel, it’s safe and completely achievable with dual controls and one of our expert instructors by their side. These cars are seriously powerful, but the focus is on learning control and experiencing what a performance car feels like—without needing to drive fast to appreciate a finely tuned engine.

What To Expect
Take your driving to the next level with a 30-minute lesson in one of our exclusive performance cars. Designed for 10–17-year-olds who have already completed one or two Young Driver lessons (and excitable grown-ups are welcome too), these sessions are a real gear change from our regular lessons and make a fantastic gift. The focus is the same—building confidence and encouraging safe, aware driving—only this time you’ll be learning behind the wheel of a truly special car. Choose from our ever-growing collection of seriously cool vehicles, with new additions added regularly. Drivers must be at least 1.42m tall to reach the pedals, and an adult must be in attendance at all times.

- Bentley: It oozes style and class. At launch the Flying Spur was the fastest production saloon car in the world. Today, youngsters can learn how to control this luxury saloon car with one of our driving instructors.
- Mercedes: With a slick black finish, red leather seats and a 5 litre V8 engine under the bonnet, our new Mercedes driving experience guarantees a great time! and if the weather’s good, the electric roof disappears into the boot in seconds! The ultimate Mercedes experience.
- Porsche: Our Porsche 911 is the real deal - a 3.6 flat 6 air cooled four wheel drive with manual transmission! A lesson in this iconic car will definitely give you bragging rights!
Availability and Location
Exclusive collection lessons are offered throughout the year, including weekends, selected weekdays and school holidays. The cars operate on a rotational basis around many of the Young Driver venues, including the venues below.

- Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as gift.

- Suitable for drivers aged 10-17 years (but grown-ups are welcome too!)
- Minimum height requirement is 1.42 meters.
- An adult must be in attendance at all times.

- Must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older upon arrival for lesson.
- Driving lessons are available every Saturday, Sunday & during school holidays between 10am and 4:30pm subject to availability .

The team at Young Driver cater for youngsters aged 9-17 to get behind the wheel for real. Budding drivers can receive tuition in everything from road safety to controlling the vehicle, preparing them for later work towards a full licence.
