- Ideal for greenhouses, conservatories, bright windowsills, or as a patio feature in summer
- Can produce spectacular tropical blooms from February to May
- Stately blue-green, deeply ribbed, bold, and architectural foliage
- Prefers a position in the sun or semi-shade, benefits from some protection from the hot sun
- Half-hardy perennial, can tolerate temperatures down to 0°C (32°F)
- Plant into containers with John Innes No. 3 loam-based compost and place in plenty of light while protecting from the hot sun
- Water freely in the growing season and allow plenty of ventilation if growing indoors
- At maturity, may reach a height of 2m (78'') and spread of 1m (39'')
