Thrill-seekers can have the feeling of flying without needing to jump out of an aeroplane in this indoor skydiving session. With an instructor at their side, single flyers or pairs will step into a wind tunnel and use wind speeds of up to 180mph to support themselves in the air. They can either opt for two trial flights, or learn the basics of body flight and control in an extra two flights.

The Merchant
Twinwoods Adventure provides a number of adrenaline-fuelled activities for thrill-seekers. These range from indoor skydiving, surfing activities, simulated motor racing and rock climbing, to a 125ft power fan jump. Younger family members can enjoy the kids playhouse while adults can relax in a health club featuring a gym and pool. The Bedford-based centre also offers accommodation, with a host of single and family rooms available.
