The Deal
Football is given a blow-up twist as players slip into a bubble and hurl themselves into play. Guests will slot their upper halves into the sumo-sized protection of a clear inflatable ball, ready to take out the opposition and probably themselves. Teams battle for the win during a 90-minute game, sure to contain a fair share of rolling around on the floor and bouncy collisions. Matches can be enjoyed by up to 14 people on Peckham Common, with video recording available and additional players permitted for a supplementary fee.
The Merchant
Bubble Boys was set up by three university friends who saw the potential of the inflatable sport. They have venues across the country, from Brighton to Ipswich, and games can feature up to 30 competitors as well as equipment delivery. Matches usually last for approximately 90 minutes, but extra hours can be added for a supplement.
