At Groupon, we seek thrills with as much enthusiasm as we seek deals, making us a better bunch of seekers than Harry Potter ever was! And if you're a bit of an adrenaline junkie yourself then boy have we got the perfect activity offer for you and some of your friends today. It is called Canyoning and, for £14 - an impressive 60% saving - we will have you screaming with ecstasy as you race down tumbling rapids with the wind tugging at your hair. Be prepared to get a little wet as you descend breathtaking waterfalls with just a rope and some hope to guide you along the way down. Then, if you still feel that you haven't been taken far enough out of your depth (unlikely), you'll be thrown in at the deep end of the pool - by which, of course, we mean plunge pools. That's right, you'll be jumping from a not-so-modest height straight into them.
If you're all so hardcore and full-blooded that all of this this doesn't quite quench your thirst for adventure then we are not quite sure what will. What we do know, however, is that you will be well accomodated in a natural haven between Highlands and the Lowlands of Scotland. Located on the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the area is simultaneously enlivened and tranquilised by a spectacular mountains and lochs that have played host to many a memorable Scottish character. Amongst them, the poet Sir Walter Scott who made Loch Katrine world famous in ‘The Lady of the Lake’, Rob Roy MacGregor whose travels you can revisit on the Rob Roy Way, and the legendary William Wallace “Braveheart”, known as the guardian of Scotland.
This is more than an activity: this is an experience. Go on, we dare you...
