For the past 30 years, the team at Toby Carvery have been on a mission to bring British roast dinners nationwide. All meat is sourced from UK grass-fed or free-range farms that meet Red Tractor standards. Every day, each Toby Carvery restaurant lays on a family-sized feast. Tender, slow-cooked meats, eight lots of freshly-prepared veggies, including crispy, ruffled roasties, and freshly-made Yorkshires served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu for those who leave meat off their plates, and a wide range of drinks can be paired with the dishes for a boosted indulgence. A kids menu and all-you-can-eat breakfasts are also available.
Very good value for money. Lovely fresh vegetables and good choice of meat. Would go again
My husband and I had a lovely meal at Thomas Kemble, Wickford. The meat and choice of vegetables was plentiful and the staff very welcoming.
great food, great value for money
Aleays very busy not enough staff
Great food, friendly and very helpful staff. Had a fab time
Don’t go there ! Don’t eat cauliflower cheese!
Another disappointing meal at Tony in Basildon. Lukewarm vegetables, tepid gravy, and roast potatoes that were so over cooked they were cremated and inedible. When I asked for fresh ones they finally arrived: pale and not quite cooked through. On a busy Friday night the kitchen staff just didn’t seem able to cope with producing the volume of properly cooked food that was needed. As bad an experience as ever at this venue - nothing has improved since our last visit.
a large comfortable toby pub - as usual the staff do an excellent job , but seem under staffed.
a good selection of tasty food , all at a very good price.
