Great experience with David.

This 2 hour instruction, I use this word rather than lesson because lesson doesn’t come close to the level of detail contained within the time frame. The initial evaluation of skill level lasted about 35 minutes during which various clubs were used, 5, 8, pitching wedge and 3 wood - just hitting each club with varying degrees of pace. Then came an analysis of the swing, posture including hand/eye coordination. I loved every minute of it. Most PGA qualified instructors try and teach the modern swing - difficult for someone who learned something else many years ago. David doesn’t do that, he goes down a route that I found perfect, he studies, evaluates one’s skill level, and only then will tell you where you can improve your existing golf swing. He isn’t trying to change the basics of everything you have done, he is showing you where you are going wrong and hopefully how to correct it without altering the basic skills you have already have, just correcting where and why you are mucking it up! From the initial evaluation posture was next. Well, I had no idea how “out” I was but now I have a good understanding of how to set up properly (the difference in swing plane alone was amazing). I was delighted with the way David handled the whole session - by the way he takes no prisoners! I shall be back with him soonest - loved the whole 2 hours.
