I have been to the spa using groupon offers 6 times. Most recently last week. If you go just for a treatment you are already quids in as the girls are great. Beyond that: - the changing rooms and toilets in the spa are filthy and run down. Use the toilets past reception, which are lovely. - the tiles poolside need steam cleaning and are very slippery. You need to wear the slippers provided so you don't touch the floor. - he poolside area is hot, swelteringly hot. Staff were uncomfortable as were guests who could at least solve the problem by getting in the pool. We were told that they couldn't open the fire door because it's a fire door, that they couldn't turn down the temperature or the pool would get cold, that they have had lockers broken into and that the management are not interested. - the lunch menu, whilst lovely is a subset of the normal menu. If you ask to swap for a much cheaper option on the menu you can't. - top tip, ask to have lunch outside on the terrace it's much cooler If you are expecting a spa that matches the quality of the hotel, you will be disappointed. It is going down hill.

At first it looks luxurious until you look at the detail and see its run down

The lunch was lovely and the treatment and therapist very good. Poolside loungers are adequate. What lets it down are the poor facilities, the changing room, sauna, steam & jacuzzi are sub standard.

Very difficult to get anyone to pick up your call to book appointment in the first place, hot beverages were given for free previously. Also when you get there door maybe closed and difficult to find how to get in. BUT once you are in there, its very nice indeed.

Lovely lunch and massage but awful facilities! The pool was freezing cold, the jacuzzi was barely lukewarm, the shower beside the jacuzzi had a "warning hot water" sign but was ironically also very cold. The ladies changing room was very basic. Not what you would call a relaxing spa day at all!

Good treatments, although we were told the full body massages had 'reached their quota' for the day. Nice lunch. Steam room and sauna were okay, but everywhere needed a bit of maintenance and paint. Swimming pool also had lots of noisy children. The pool was used half way through the day for a baptism- meaning we had to leave the pool.
