Yes it's a little run down but it in no way impacted on the fun we had. Skates were in good condition and staff were friendly. £5 for penguin hire which we were allowed to keep for the duration (normally its for an hour) as the rink wasn't overly busy. Would definitely go again and would recommend to others.

Twin Grandchildren were taken there twice in the past week, the staff were friendly the scatting seemed good, the food reasonably priced, there were comfortable chairs in the entrance area which allowed my wife and I to watch the scatting in warmth.

Had a great time skating with my grandchildren. Could get hot food and drinks in the cafeteria. Staff helpful. On the down side toilets could do with some attention - cleaning and replenishing. Otherwise good experience.

We use this rink as it is the only local one in our area. The rink is in a terrible state of disrepair, looking as though it hasn't had any works done since I first visited some 20 years ago. My daughter sat on one of the stadium seats and it was broken so she fell off and hurt herself. We were moved off the ice for 15 mins mid skate so they could sweep the ice, the children's penguin/polar bears aids cost an extortionate £10 for 2 for an hour?!! We had planned to stay for a few hours and get something to eat, but I was not prepared to pay £30 on top of the grouping offer, so we left and eat elsewhere. No wonder the place was almost empty in the middle of the school holidays. If a little money was put into the upkeep of the place, they would attract a lot more custom. Also, prices for the aids are unrealistic. It is a necessity for young children, and should be priced more reasonably if at all.

Possibly only criticism is that the toilets could be cleaner although do appreciate not easy when so many kids using them
