About DRIFT LIMITS

Drift Limits is the answer to a number of driving experience conundrums. A Mazda MX-5, BMW M3 and Ariel Atom are all track-prepped and ready to be thrashed during the various drifting and driving options. One-to-one tuition plus group and corporate events are also on the starting grid. Fans of Formula One can follow in the footsteps of their favourite drivers with a session in a legitimate Formula Renault car. All experiences go down at the Bovingdon Airfield, just a ten-minute drive from Hemel Hempstead.

The experience was very disappointed. Firstly the communication prior the event was poor and they cancelled three times as the car wasn’t ready. Once I actually booked a GT3 racing experience after a year since purchasing, I arrived and the so called ‘track’ was very poor - just an outline on an old abandoned car park. We then had our briefing which they showed videos of past people crashing - and then straight after a powerpoint slide showing the extra insurance covers they ‘recommend’. Whole thing was just a scare tactic to grab more money. Initially purchased 8 laps and only got 4 in the desired car. I was then told I would get 4 laps in a ‘race spec’d sports car’. What a joke that was. It was a 2001 1.0 50bhp Toyota aygo, which was driven by an instructor with a supposedly ‘fast thrilling lap’ which was as thrilling as watching paint dry. To summarise, I was in the car for about three minutes, it was a waste of money, and just pointless. The whole exercise was to grab additional money through insurance, extra laps and media and photos. Stay away at all costs please please please choose a different company.

First time my kids had the 3hr experience earlier in the year, they loved it and their instructors related with them really well. Going back again for more driving at the end of the summer! Looking forward to it.
