Durker Roods Hotel is a 19th century manor house set in mature gardens a short distance from the Yorkshire Dales. The hotel was originally the private residence of Sir David Brown, owner of Aston Martin cars. It became a hotel and wedding venue in the mid-'70s and now boasts 30 en suite guest rooms, all of which have Wi-Fi and TV. Wedding parties at Durker Roods can make use of the function room with its chandeliers, hardwood floors and ornate fireplace, which can be decorated in a contemporary or vintage style. The hotel also provides beauty treatments on site, helping bridal parties with preparations on the big day.
