Established in 1990 by Krysia and Sam Selwyn-Gotha, Pembroke Farm Gardens is a habitat for a wide range of flora and fauna specimens. Designed as a woodland walk, it has developed to feature formal areas, such as a topiary and woodland garden, a tea lawn with cottage garden beds and numerous rose gardens with over 150 rose specimens. There is also a shop where guests can purchase gifts and treats and a courtyard where they can refuel with a selection of hot beverages and cakes.
Pleasant staff on our arrival but regarding gardens they were ok. No wow factor. Therefore the price I regard as too high.
Good day out but it’s a lot smaller than you’d think it is. Doesn’t take long to walk around everything at all.
The gardens were lovely, the courtyard terrace was an absolute gem.
It was tricky to find the place but now I have ,I shall return.
Pembroke Farm has a lovely garden divided into different garden rooms with lots of beautiful seating areas. There is a gorgeous french style courtyard garden where you can enjoy Refreshments and Homemade Soup & Cakes.
To have milk with coffee cost extra.Gardens
nice very small not worth the money.
Very quaint little place but in need of a some TLC . The gardens are small only takes about 30mins to go round. Each section has seating however all the garden furniture is shabby and needs either replacing or painting. The one thing that makes this place worth visiting is the enclosed tea garden ,beautiful presented tea & cakes on China tea sets & linen table clothes. Not well signed posted.
PS. This garden has benches/seats throughout, a short distance apart, and therefore would be perfect for elderly/those who cannot walk for a sustained time.
A developing garden with stunning roses, topiary and homemade cakes- we went round the gardens for about 1.5 hours and had afternoon tea after. A lovely afternoon (I'm 20 and bought this for my parents).
Well maintained series of garden 'rooms' with blooms at their best in July. Enjoy a slow meander, and an occasional sit, to experience different visual aspects. Delight in many unexpected views to intrigue as to your whereabouts in accordance with the useful map guide given on arrival.
Peaceful courtyard setting to enjoy tea and homemade cake or soup.
Lovely little garden to walk around and relax in and an outside tea room to enjoy tea and cake.
a really lovely garden well worth visiting and I look forward to going again soon.
