Established in 1990 by Krysia and Sam Selwyn-Gotha, Pembroke Farm Gardens is a habitat for a wide range of flora and fauna specimens. Designed as a woodland walk, it has developed to feature formal areas, such as a topiary and woodland garden, a tea lawn with cottage garden beds and numerous rose gardens with over 150 rose specimens. There is also a shop where guests can purchase gifts and treats and a courtyard where they can refuel with a selection of hot beverages and cakes.
Absolute hidden gem of a garden! Beautiful ground created and tended by a small family with a homely cafe offering lovely tea and treats! Highly recommended!!
A small developing garden with lots of different pathways to explore. We also enjoyed a bowl of homemade soup in the courtyard - with a choice of seats in the sun or the shade.
Signage to the farm could have been a lot more prominent as we missed the entrance and had to travel quite a distance before we could turn round...
It would also have been nice to have the trees and more unusual plants labelled.
i felt the plants for sale were rather expensive and, again, not labelled.
An enjoyable one off visit.
Lovely gardens - not that large. Excellent home made cream teas.
Lovely gardens with easy access around even with a wheelchair
Lovely coffee shop area with really nice coffee and homemade cakes served in china cups, with really friendly staff but came across as a bit disorganised
Overall a lovely morning out
My wife and I visited on Friday. We arrived at 11.00 not realising the courtyard doesn’t open until 12.00. The owner came out with a map of the gardens, and went off to explore for an hour. The gardens are well kept and although not large, there were plenty of areas to look at. We went to the courtyard for lunch. It has a fair sized seated area with parasols. We had home made soup, which was delicious.
Compact intimate private garden with different 'rooms' Can't believe we only live about 8 miles away and have only just found it. The home made cakes and Morrocan mint tea in the tea room were gorgeous. We will definitely be back again, thanks for your hospitatlity.
A small garden but a peaceful place to visit with a good outside tea garden.
