From Our Editors

Blundell Street offers a cabaret restaurant experience in the heart of Liverpool. The kitchen prepares British classics like traditional roasts while pasta dishes and Asian-inspired stir-fries deliver flavours from further afield. The eatery boasts a dancefloor and regularly plays host to live music, comedy acts and talent competitions. The venue can be hired out for functions such as stag and hen nights and weddings.

LOVELY FOOD,friendly and efficient service. HAD A GROUPON VOUCHER so was very pleased with the value of the meal. Entertainment on Sunday afternoon was pleasant if somewhat boring!

Very disappointed with our Afternoon Tea. No choice given for vegetarians or special diets. Then told they had run out of bread to make an alternative sandwich. Offered a baguette which was fine but it was tasteless cheese without any garnish. We asked if we could have our tea and were told tea is not included in our "AFTERNOON TEA" deal? We had to wait ages for plates to eat off and the scone was tiny and dry, Which was slightly better when eventually give jam and cream. Such a shame as we had been looking forward to this as it was bought as a treat.

No. We had the cream tea, there was only two sandwiche fillings, salmon and cheese on stale bread, the guitar vocalist only very poor and when he finally got started he only sang five songs then went for a break, the scones where stale and served with double cream instead of clotted cream. All in all it was the worst cream tea we have ever had

£9 each for 3 course Sunday roast, which was delicious, is a real bargain. The music on whilst you ate was fantastic. Will deffo go back.

Food was great, couldn't order drinks at the table which would have been nice but small venue and bar not overcrowded so ok. Live music was a bonus . Would go again.
