FABULOUS! From the moment we arrived we were delighted with the ambiance, lovely lighting, clean attractive tables, room to be comfortable and warm, welcoming and attentive staff. The Sunday Roast was the best we had ever had. We all had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection - we all agreed we have never had such tender and tasty beef! There were five, beautifully cooked and presented, vegetables - not the usual peas with everything! All cooked to perfection and tasted as good as they looked. Desserts were equally special. We had apple crumbles and chocolate brownies, all lip-smackingly good. I couldn’t manage my dessert but my granddaughter could! I did finish with a coffee which was a very good Americana but the others were too full for theirs. We were a party of three adults and two children (one was added on as an extra) and we can’t wait to visit again.

One if the best afternoon teas we’ve had. Great food and the staff cannot do enough for you. Delicious sandwiches, unfortunately they were out of sausage rolls but gave us extra scones - fruit and cheese - instead. Lots of chocolate cake which my husband loves but I don’t so they gave me an extra slice of lovely lemon drizzle to take away. Could not fault it.

Great meal. Plenty of everything. Well cooked. Tasty and nicely presented. A good choice for both main and dessert. Bubbles and coffee added a great final touch. Pleasant attention from staff. Will certainly go again
