Such a lovely castle, the surroundings, atmosphere & environment couldn’t be more special, the perfect place for any celebration.
We had a lovely afternoon tea for 4. The food is great quality, delicious, plenty for us all & nice hot drinks too.
All the staff are lovely & accommodating. Dan was a lovely young man, explained the food to be served & arranged for plain sandwiches for the less adventurous foodies in our group. The chef prepared these to perfection!
We have been to Peckforton several times; over night stays, lunch, dinner, we will definitely return & have already booked to return. Peckforton is one of our favourite places!
We had a wonderful afternoon & was not rushed at all. We’re never disappointed! Thank you.
Lovely afternoon
The loveliest afternoon! Such a beautiful place, and nothing was too much trouble. Greeted by friendly and attentive staff, we enjoyed the Indulgent Afternoon Tea feeling unrushed and completely relaxed. Food was excellent, with a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes plus plenty of choice for drinks. Sat outside afterwards to enjoy our champagne, finishing off our afternoon perfectly.

Room unattractive, no ambience. Use of tablecloths and attractive china would have helped relieve this somewhat. Not what one would expect of such an establishment.

The castle cancelled my booking due to a large event, they re booked it for the following week, again large event on, (wedding). We arrived early so we could look around the castle, we were informed there’s nothing to see!! Sat in a lounge no one came to us, went to reception and waited 15 minutes to be told go to another area to order a drink!!.
Fast forward……afternoon tiffins save your pennies!
