Wildlife was invented after the less than fascinating zoo attraction of tamelife failed to draw in the crowds. Take a walk on the more interesting side with today's Groupon from Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Tuesday October 25. Choose from the following options:• £8 for entry to evening extravaganza for two
• £15 for entry to evening extravaganza for four
• £25 for entry to evening extravaganza for six
Voted one of most magnificent attractions in the region, Yorkshire Wildlife Park works to increase natural diversity and protect animal life through education and conservation. Drawing in crowds to marvel at the lions, lemurs, tigers and many more besides, the park offers adoption to help sustain the varied species they have prowling the site. In addition to the animal attractions, the park also houses a jungle play barn and forest adventure area to appeal to safari explorers of all ages.
Raising money to send a veterinary task force to Zimbabwe to carry out vital work to save the endangered Painted Dog, the park is hosting a bangless firework extravaganza on Tuesday 25 October as part of its Halloween celebrations. Opening their doors at 3pm, groups of two, four or six are invented to explore the array of attractions including watching the nocturnal animals and talks from the park rangers, before watching in awe as the night sky lights up with noiseless colours to keep both the human and animal kingdom amused. As the eyes dance with the effervescent entertainment of fireworks, the ears will be thrilled by the Doncaster Concert Band.
The Yorkshire Wildlife Park scored a wild 4/5 stars on TripAdvisor, as visitors praised the well-looked after animals and knowledgeable staff.
All of the animals here had plenty of open space and I would recommend it to anyone that loves animals but hates seeing them in un-natural surroundings. You can go in with some of the animals such as the lemurs which were my favourite. There are plenty of picnic areas, also indoor and outdoor play areas for children (including some slides which are quite fun for adults). All in all one of the best days out I have been to.
