When we booked and arrived it was not even open. When you have travelled 35 miles to get there how maddening is that.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The Key lime pie was amazing and the sandwiches were very filling.

Even at the reduced price it was over priced. There is so much potential for this site / product but it needs some work on it

My twins loved their afternoon tea! So much so I have booked again. It is a lovely experience for them and very personal, the owner gave them a choice of sandwiches so they were able to have everything they like. They were able to play with the toys without me worrying that they are not behaving. This gave me the chance to have a cuppa and a chat with my friend who had joined us.

Great fun, lots of toys in one corner so the girls loved it. All the crockery was unicorn themed which my 8 year old loved. I on the other hand was bitterly disappointed, one cup of tea, not a tea pot, for every guest, there was no choice. I should have asked what unicorn theme meant(I thought the plates decor etc) no it means white bread and marshmallows! Not worth the money.

I wouldn't recommend this place poor value for what I paid and was accused of not paying even thou I got it throu Groupon tea was like dish water sandwiches wasn't enough to feed a pigeon very cold inside no back ground music 2 other couples left before us never touched there sandwiches well if that's what you could call them wafer thin cucumber wafer thin ham and tasteless egg scone burnt no cream small pot of cheap jam and a slither of cake def wouldn't recommend this place needs closing down

Overpriced, awful experience. Cheap white bread, not fresh, inappropriate menu for children, owner not willing to accommodate dietary requirements and spent majority of time telling us all about her troubles and strife...not to mention the unhygienic toilet which you walk through the kitchen to get to! We were left waiting for a good 20 - 30 minutes before being served, we were allowed 1 'cup' of tea rather than a pot of tea as is traditional with any afternoon tea. We were one of only 2 occupied tables in the venue with 3 members of staff on yet we had no table service throughout and staff were gormless/less than helpful when approached. This was bought as a gift for my best friend and her daughter and I was utterly embarrassed on the day and appalled by this place - won't ever be back! Great concept - wrong owner and staff.

Best thing was cute crockery . But a pot of tea a cucumber sandwich an egg sandwich a wafer thin ham sandwich an inch slice of Victoria sponge and a small scone isn’t an afternoon tea .
