London Elizabeth Hotel is located on the doorstep of Hyde Park, opposite Lancaster Gate tube station. Originally built as three private houses in 1850, the 4* establishment was used as billeting for the Polish Air Force during World War Two and has had various additions which still stand to this day, including a cast iron conservatory that overlooks the gardens. As it stands today, the hotel maintains a large number of the original features as well as the inclusion of a number of modern facilities. The 49 rooms all differ from one another but all feature en suite bathrooms as well as various amenities, with the Hyde Park suite offering incredible balcony views of its namesake. Dining can take place in a range of areas including the restaurant, the bar, lobby lounge, or the garden terrace, which boasts a rose and herb garden.
