The country house surroundings, the ambience, the friendly staff, the high quality, beautifully cooked, and presented food and the fantastic value for money all conspired to make it a memorable occasion for us.
We were pleasantly surprised by the Manager and all the kitchen and serving staff presenting Rod with an 80th birthday treat and a chorus of 🎶 Happy Birthday to you 🎂🎶🎶

Fabulous value for money. Tasty 3 course lunch in beautiful surroundings. Lovely attentive staff. Menu and drink selection was a bit limited but even so would definitely go back .

Really nice experience, very welcoming. The tea was delicious with just enough of everything, with lots of jam and cream. In fact, I put a dob of cream on all the sweet bits. There was as much tea as we wanted, and plenty of milk, and afterwards, we visited Stoughton Harold reservoir, which is not far away and beautiful
