Providing a place for guests to encounter the exotic, the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre houses all manner of animals, from reptiles to farm animals. Animal encounters run throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to walk among lemurs and pet the goats. VIP meet and greet experiences are on offer for animal enthusiasts, while kids can also take part in birthday celebrations on-site. Various themed events run throughout the year to coincide with school holidays, and many of the animals can also be adopted. Meanwhile, regular breaks can be taken during the day with trips to the activity centre, play park, cafe and gift shop.

A very pleasant experience, the grandkids loved the water spraying, the animals were well presented and looked in perfect condition, staff were very friendly and knowledgable, cafe had a good choice and food was well presented. We spent five hours there so good value.

We're lucky enough to have this gem on our doorstep. My partner loved his Meerkat experience. Knowledgable, caring staff, who couldn't do enough for us in a beautiful setting. It was amazing value for money.

Because the weather is cold there where very few butterfly's and the animals were very sparse. I feel they have done the voucher just to get people there .we were very disappointed as we took our grandchildren and had told them how good it was going to be.

An excellent place for children and adults, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very interactive with the animals/birds and invite the audience to interact too. There is lots of different things to do there, the tropical butterfly house is great to see the tropical butterflies and birds freely flying around their habitat. There are bats, lizard snakes and cockroaches to see in there. An indoor play area and during holiday time have themes, such as Easter, Halloween etc. There is an outdoor area for younger children and in 2016 further extension into the field with a wet area for young children and a football net, with a new toilet block.
