Located in the heart of Manchester, Bock Biere is a continental-style beer cafe with marble-topped tables, brick walls, wooden floors and leather booths. The bar serves a lowlands-inspired menu which includes sharing boards, Sunday roast fondue and a lunchtime menu including baguettes, stews, salads and soups. Bock also offers a broad selection of wines, spirits, continental coffee and one of the North's largest selection of Belgian and Belgian-inspired beer.
Be careful because the small print states different ruling to what we were told when we turned up.
Loved the fondue. Loved the atmosphere.
Great service, amazing food, what's not to love?
Sharing platters are great for a group of 4 with a fondue for 4
Cocktails horrible and poorset
Lovely setting and good cocktail x
Had a voucher for four cockta, however was informed when sat at the table that they had run out of prosecco so we couldn’t have any prosecco based cocktails . The menu consists of 8 cocktails and four contained prosecco so left with a choice of 4 cocktails and the cocktails we chose were vile , sorry but I would remove the cocktail options from the menu and just stick with offering beer - very disappointing visit!!
The chocolate fondue wasn’t much of a bargain as it wasn’t very large (if there had been 4 of you) and the fondue wasn’t the best. Busy Christmas time so I assume they were a bit rushed.
We have been for Sunday roast one and would definitely recommend that.
Lovely place, friendly staff
