We enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at the Village Tea Rooms, where a most attentive and friendly lady served us with fresh and tasty sandwiches, a variety of cakes, and scones with jam and cream. We had a pot each of tea and coffee to suit our tastes, and were able to bring home a doggy bag containing the cakes we could not manage to eat at the time! Such a lovely variety of food, at an incredibly low price. The tea rooms are part of a complex of antiques, bric a brac and restoration units, and we had a good time searching around for little treasures and "must haves". We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and recommend this venue to anyone wishing for more than simply a quick cuppa. Thank you. .
