Set amid 22 acres of deer park on Bedfordshire's Woburn Estate, Paris House serves French cuisine with a twist. The ever-changing menu features locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, alongside tipples carefully chosen for their complementary tastes. Guests can also visit for cookery master-classes and wine-tasting evenings. The house itself was built in Paris in 1878, before it was transferred, piece by piece to its new British home. Now a Michelin star restaurant, Paris House has appeared in the The Sunday Times Top 50 Restaurants list. Head chef Phil Fanning is no stranger to accolades either; after making it as a finalist in BBC's Junior Masterchef back in 1997, he went on to receive an Acorn Award, which recognises future stars of the hospitality industry under 30, in 2011. His most recent award was Best Chef at the Hi-Life Dining Awards 2012.
