The Elderflower sits prettily in the New Forest town of Lymington, set in a grade II listed building on a Georgian cobbled street. The menu is quintessentially British with a sprinkling of French inspiration, featuring dishes such as frogs, snails and piggy tails, alongside English asparagus and stuffed tulip. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, who have decades of experience between them in some of London's top eateries. Guests can choose from the a la carte, set or tasting menu, and stay overnight if they wish in one of the three en suite rooms on-site.
