Nice range of treats in the Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea. Thick, real ham, and the cheese scones and cakes were lovely. Overall, it was a great experience. Call out to Mustafa, who served us and was very welcoming and chatty.

A friend and I had afternoon tea and I would recommend it to anyone. Firstly easy access there is parking outside and it’s all one level , great for people with less mobility. The decor is lively and quirky, the location is great , we were lucky enough to sit by the viewing area and the view was great overlooking the harbour and river. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was presented in a fun way , it was delicious and filling and different to other afternoon teas I’ve had. I also heard other people ordering different things from a lovely sounding menu.. We left with big smiles and will be back!!

What a wonderful venue overlooking the river mouth of the Tyne, The service was good, helpful, friendly and the food was delicious. Portions were huge; great value for money. An altogether very satisfying culinary experience.
