Ventura Wildlife's Zoological Gardens is a unique interactive zoo, located in Great Amwell. Nested within two acres of Hertfordshire countryside. Ventura Wildlife's Zoological Gardens is dedicated to providing adventure, education, and conservation. The Zoo is home to over 45 different species of exotic animals from around the world. Get a closer look at zebra, reindeer, kangaroo, lemurs, Madagascar’s largest carnivore the fossa, and the UK’s only Cuban hutia. Head to the NEW Critter Cove which is host to a world of tropical reptiles, amphibians and creepy crawlies. Guests can get even closer to the animals through our daily activities, including keeper talks, feeding displays, and animal encounter shows. The zoo is open all year round with the exception of Easter Sunday, Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

We did the Lemur feeding experience. It was absolutely fantastic! Is a very small wildlife park but with some fascinating creatures, a very good show where you can meet and touch some interesting animals and the ranger was very knowledgeable. A really lovely day!
