The Campsite

Set amidst 500 acres of countryside, Chester Lakes offers a peaceful retreat for guests. Lakes and parkland provide an opportunity for visitors to be at-one with nature, while families can take part in one of the many on-site activities, from survival skills lessons, to go-karting and paint balling. The city sights of Chester are a 12-minute drive away, with attractions including the cathedral and zoo, as well as shops, restaurants and bars.

• Each four-man tent will be pitched up in the meadow area, away from the water’s edge, with space for one car.

• The site includes 10 showers, 14 toilets and wash-down facilities for keeping clean. There’s also night-time lighting for evening activities.

• On-site buildings include a fishing tackle shop, and a café which is open from 7am until 7pm. During the summer of 2014, a residential bar adjacent to the café will provide evening drinks and nibbles on the weekends.
