The Hotel

Goswell House is a beautiful town house located in the heart of Windsor. Part of the Harte and Garter Hotel, this unique building has its own separate entrance whilst enjoying use of the main hotels facilities.

There are 19 bedrooms, two of which are large family bedrooms. This beautiful townhouse was opened in July 2013. The building is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, train stations, Windsor Castle, Guild Hall and the River Thames.

At The Tower Brasserie and Tea Room, guests can tuck into traditional afternoon teas and British cuisine dishes based on locally-sourced produce. There is also an extensive wine menu, including some fine beverages to complement each meal.

Holidaymakers may visit Windsor Castle, the Queen’s official residence, which opens its grand doors for visitors to explore the treasure-rich state apartments, St. George’s Chapel, and the Drawings Gallery, housing changing exhibitions of items from the Royal Library alongside a selection of treasures, including drawings by Leonardo da Vinci.

Travellers may also explore the famous Windsor Great Park, beaming with history and legends, and look out for the ghost of a hunter riding a black stallion who is said to haunt the rolling acres. Guests can also wind through Berkshire on a river cruise down the Thames, or paddle down on a rowing boat if feeling energetic.
