The Domina Prestige Emilio cruise ship takes travellers on a Nile adventure to discover the ancient secrets and archaeological sites of Egypt. Holidaymakers will spend seven days visiting the ancient cities of Kom Ombo and Aswan, the Luxor Temple or the West Bank of Luxor, home of the world-famous Valley of the Kings, and where the historic Colossi of Memnon and sprawling Temple of Queen Hatshepsut may also be found.

The Cruise Itinerary

• Day 1: Fly to Egypt and transfer to the cruise ship. Overnight in Luxor.

• Day 2: Early morning visit to Luxor and Karnak Temple. Sail to Edfu.

• Day 3: Morning visit to Edfu Temple. Sail to Kom Ombo.

• Day 4: Morning visit to Kom Ombo Temple. Sail to Aswan and visit to the Philae Temple, the High Dam and the unfinished Obelisk.

• Day 5: Morning at leisure in Aswan and afternoon visit to Aswan Botanical Garden. Overnight in Aswan.

• Day 6: Sail back from Aswan to Luxor.

• Day 7: Early morning visit to the West Bank of Luxor, home to the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Hatchesput. Overnight in Luxor.

The Resort

Boasting one of the biggest aqua parks in Hurghada, with numerous water slides, a rafting river and a wave pool, the Titanic Beach Spa & Aqua Park offers holidaymakers a refreshing base from which to enjoy the vibrant Red Sea Riviera nightlife. Four star facilities spread across spacious en suite rooms featuring queen-size beds, satellite LCD TVs, minibars and open terraces or balconies. Cairo airport is approx. 480km from the hotel, reachable in about a 6-hour drive.

Cruise Details

• The itinerary may be amended if local conditions deem it necessary.
• Tipping (known as baksheesh) is a way of life in Egypt and guests should be prepared for this when visiting the country or cruising on the Nile.
• Because they are mechanical it may be necessary (in rare circumstances) to substitute a Nile cruise vessel. In this event, a similar or better standard boat will be used.
