Murder Mystery Experience
Visitors are invited to indulge with a murder scenario and play the detective’s role in order to solve the mystery.
This mysterious crime took place in the early 1970’s at the Lumley Castle. The victim was Lord Marcus Lumley, the aristocratic but impoverished owner of Lumley Castle, who was found dead. Apparently he had a heart attack, although a recent check-up showed that his health was fine.
A hint for solving the mystery is that Lord Lumley spent his last evening accompanied by his wife, a family friend and a clairvoyant that he had invited to the castle.
Everyone questions if his death was related to natural causes or one of his companions committed the crime.
The 3-Course Dinner
- First course: Northumbrian vegetable broth
- Second course: chicken supreme wrapped in bacon with a rich port wine sauce; mushroom and Stilton Cheese en Croute (V) in a Provencal sauce; a selection of seasonal vegetables
