This was a very enjoyable experience, The venue is good, outstanding view, food good and staff very polite and efficient. The tour guide was also very good and kept everyone entertained. The wines produced are OK, but expensive. There is however no pressure to buy. More choice of times would be helpful. We chose the brunch deal as we felt the 12.00pm is a little early for afternoon tea and times are limited if you want to fit in the tour as well.

Although not a large vineyard, Dean our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything brilliantly. We thought that maybe the wine tasting could have been somewhere other than where all the machinery was. Disappointed that there were no bottles left to buy. The afternoon tea was delicious served by lovely staff.

Excellent morning in the lovely sunshine. Very informative and interesting. The wine went down a treat by us both. Plus a bottle to take home for later which we enjoyed that evening

About Holmfirth Vineyard

Spread across seven acres of land, Holmfirth Vineyard offers up panoramic views of the Holme Valley. The vineyard produces a variety of red and white English wines, using grapes chosen for their ability to thrive in the cooler British climate. As well as tours of the vineyard, customers can try out the on-site restaurant serving a selection of hearty meals and quick snacks, accompanied by an extensive wine list. Guests wanting to indulge their inner vintner can adopt their own vine, which includes a certificate of adoption, alongside family entry to the vineyard.
