Today's Groupon offers Hosta Collection, distributed by Van Meuwen.
- Hostas are a hardy perennial plant well known for having thick decorative foliage
- Produces fresh colourful foliage each spring with flower spikes in the summer
- Hosta plants like rich, well-drained soil and will need to be kept reliably moist
- For best performance position in lightly shaded areas avoiding direct sunlight
- At maturity plants will reach a height of up to 60cm with a spread of 100cm
- Supplied as bare-root plants
- Each collection comprises of the following varieties:
- Hosta 'Francee' - Tough and weatherproof with foliage that is deeply ribbed and edged in jagged, cream margins.
- Hosta 'September Sun' - Golden leaves with irregular dark green margins that still look good towards the end of summer.
- Hosta 'Marmalade on Toast' - Corrugated, heart shaped, blue-green foliage with gently wavy margins
- Hosta 'Brim Cup' - Compact variety with dark green foliage edged in a broad, creamy-white margin
- Hosta 'Frances Williams' - Relatively slug resistant with blue-green foliage and bright golden margins
