The Merchant
Kelburn Castle and Country Centre began as a Norman keep, with seamless additions and extensions being added to the castle in the Tudor, Stuart and Victorian eras. More recently Brazilian graffiti artists were commissioned to decorate one of the high walls with a colourful mural, in an attempt to bring together historic architecture and modern art. The castle's extensive grounds are home to a wide array of children's activities, and the complex walkways and numerous features of the secret forest are designed to keep sight-seers of all ages entertained.
