Earn the right to take to the road on two wheels with a comprehensive Compulsory Basic Training course

About This Deal

The Deal

Successful completion of this one-day training course (usually £125) is required for anyone wishing to ride a moped or motorcycle on public roads. It entitles over-16s to mount a 50cc steed, or over-17s to ride up to 125cc. The course is split into five elements starting with an introduction to Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) and why it is required before moving on to practical on-site training, introduction to the motorcycle, basic machine and maintenance checks. The last three sections will give would-be James Deans the ability to demonstrate clutch control, balance and slow-speed manoeuvrability, as well as a minimum of two hours of road riding covering all traffic scenarios.
