staff couldn't have being more helpful nice to see in this day and age only downfall was I thought the café was very expensive would take a picnic if I was visiting again!

Nice to spend a couple of hours having a walk around the reserve, pond dipping and bird watching cafe on site was a bit pricey but I'm used to taking my own picnic which you can do here too.

About Saltholme Wildlife Reserve
Saltholme Wildlife Reserve lets visitors get close to nature. It also features a visitor centre, a large car park and a number of places to enjoys a picnic. The cafe serves up hot meals and snacks, and the shop stocks a host of bird-watching equipment, books and gift items. The wetland is home to various species of birds ranging from garden birds you may recognise to the occasional rarity stopping by en-route to its migration grounds. The centre hosts regular events including walks, family activities, seasonal events and talks.
